THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Hello there!
I’m Laura, born and raised in Ticino, in the southern part of Switzerland. Mauritius has always been a part of my life: my mother is Mauritian, and thanks to her I discovered the island from a very young age. Growing up between two cultures shaped me deeply: it opened my mind, made me naturally outgoing, and helped me connect easily with people from all walks of life.
I began my journey in photography back in 2007 during my art school in Lugano, and from that moment on, I never put my camera down!
I speak Italian, French, and English fluently. I also understand Spanish and German, and even if I struggle to speak them, I always give it a try!
My style is natural and storytelling. I love capturing my clients’ stories as if they were scenes from a film, whether it’s a love story or a family moment, I put my whole artistic vision into creating images that remain authentic and genuine. I work with natural light, and I’m especially drawn to the warm tones of the Mauritian sunset, though the colors of our island in summer are equally incredible.
I travel all around Mauritius for sessions, but I’m not limited to the island, I am also available in Switzerland, France, and Germany.
